Privacy policy

os is a personal dashboard run by Casey Lee (cplee@nektos.com). It is invite-only. If your Google account has not been invited, you cannot sign in and os stores nothing about you.
Google data
os uses Google sign-in and, only if you connect a calendar, read-only access to that calendar:
- Sign-in uses the openid, email, and profile scopes to identify you and to check that your account is invited.
- Google Calendar uses the calendar.readonly scope only to show you your own events on your own dashboard. os does not create, change, or delete calendar events.
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on the server and are used only to fetch data for the user who connected the account. Other users cannot see your calendars, tokens, or settings.
Other connected services
Spotify, Todoist, X, Slack, GitHub, Ring, Hospitable, Quo, Trello, and Notion work the same way. os reads them only if you connect them, only to show that data on your dashboard, and stores those credentials encrypted for your account alone.
What os does not do
os does not sell, share, or rent your data, and does not use it for advertising or for training AI models. os's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting and deletion
You can disconnect any account in Settings. To delete your account and the data stored for it, email cplee@nektos.com.
